Evaluation Section

This is the final section of your coursework! Wohooooo!

You need to include the following:

1. Evaluate the Methods you used (e.g. density survey, environmental quality, etc)

Try to find a problem for each method
Suggest ways that it could be improved
Think about the quality of each method, sample sizes, impact of the day/date/time or weather on the method

This could be written up as an EVALUATION GRID (See power point for example)

2. Evaluate the Results you got

How accurate are they?
Did you make any errors when collecting the date that could affect the results?
Would you get the same results if you repeated it now?
What if you repeated the study in a different season / used different street

3. Evaluate the validity of your Conclusions

Question the accuracy of your conclusions (key questions and final conclusion) if your results are not entirely accurate.

4. FINALLY:

aim to link the three elements together by showing how the limitation in the data collection techniques has affected the accuracy of the results and, therefore, the validity of the conclusions.
